Portraits for me tell the story of the person, Here, the old lady's content eyes and gentle smile amidst the wrinkled skin that was glowing in sunlight,  told me a story of how content she is with her life. All struggles and pains seem to be worth where she is today. Moreover, the traditional jewellery and colours on the background panel also reflect the happiness she is experiencing. 
This is my work in colour pencil where every little pencil stroke is made gently and thoughtfully. This medium always says me to slowdown and be patient.
