Summers are generally harsh in India and in the village kids beat the heat by jumping and playing in the ponds near to their houses. It is a lovely sight to see these children enjoying in the water splashing water on each other. I this painting I  wanted to capture that happy moment. 
I painted it in watercolour to get lovely subtle hues of earthy colours. I loved painting this so much that I had to really gather courage to list it on this store.
